definition

Walking
Walking as fitness activity is faster and more performance-oriented than the walking we do in our everyday life. It´s an easy and practicable way of outdoor training, especially for beginners, who feel unable to run. Of course, walking can also be exhausting, but mostly it´s done in a brisk but relaxing way.

Nordic Walking
Nordic walking was originally developed in the late 90s as a method of summertime training for athletes in cross-coutry skiing or biathlon. But very soon it became one of the most popular recreational cardio training activities among active people worldwide.
The difference to "normal" walking is the use of special walking poles, wich are slightly different to the ones uses in skiing, to support your legs and put some demand on the muscles of the upper body parts.
