There´s are no secrets or tricks, just smart behavoir and a basic understanding of your body and its metabolism work.

reasons to lose weight

Losing weight has a lot of benefits for you physical and menal health.

Cardiovascular system:
Overweight people mostly have a higher blood pressure, because the heart has to work like crazy to supply all these extra pounds with blood. Did you know that each pound of fat contains more than 10 miles of capillaries? This, in combination with an unhealthy lifestyle and a lack of physical activity causes heart attacks and many other heart diseases.
Also the blood cholesterol level is higher as you are overweight. LDL-Cholesterol together with chalk clogs the blood vains and is the major cause for apopleptic strokes.

Supportive structures:
Beeing overweight puts tremendous pressure on your supportive structures, such as bones and articulations. Not just once in a time, but permanently. And the untrained muscles and tendons can´t deliver adequate support. Finally all major joints begin to hurt and that´s taken as another reason not to move at all. What a trap!

Diabetes:
The chance to become a diabetic is unequally higher as you are overweight. Sudies showed that a population´s increase of obesity is always linked with an increase of cases of diabetes.

Premature death:
Your common sense already knows that beeing overweight and becoming really old are two different stories. Studies showed that the life expectancy of obese adults is about 8-15 years less compared to healthy-weight people of the same age.
