Stand beneath bar, flex hips to lean forwards with straight back and grasp bar with shoulderwide overhand grip. Maintain stable position, keep knees slightly flexed. Pull barbell up to waist. Doing this imagine to "shave" your thighs. Contract back and pull bladebones up. Return and repeat. Exercise can also be done with underhand grip.
